Sameul Adams (1722-1803)

It all started with a shot heard around the world in Concord, Massachusetts, and ended with the encircling of General Cornwallis at Yorktown.  A most momentus time in the history of the world as a seed of new governance grew out of the need for freedom from tyranny.  Samuel Adams was perhaps one individual that, as a ring leader of the Sons of Liberty, incited the principles of rebellion and sowed the first seeds of the American Revolution.  Many followed his actions until ideas became documents and words became actions.  These were the actions of a people that clearly understood the importance of this moment in history and the need for a chartered government that would, as a principle, defend life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  We do because we are.  Our Republic, for which it stands, demands of all of us to instill the blessings of liberty for future generations.  Darjees is committed to sharing this rich and important history through the actions of our commerce.
